White Ash TreeAsh is a versatile wood with a coarse, uniform grain pattern and elegant colors. Our Ash products are famous for their bright white colors and consistent quality. Ash has very good overall strength properties relative to its weight. It has excellent shock resistance and is good for steam bending. Ash machines well, is good for nailing, screwing and gluing and can be stained and polished to a very good finish. Its common uses are furniture, flooring, doors, architectural interiors, high end moulding, cabinets, paneling, tool handles and sporting goods. BLACK CHERRY

(Prunus serotina)

Cherry TreeCherry is one of the most beautiful and workable of all hardwoods. RAM Forest Products is situated in prime Cherry country near the heart of the Allegany Forest, generally acknowledged as the home of the finest Cherry in the world. Cherry from this area exhibits consistent red color with fine uniform grain and minimal gum. Cherry has a medium wood density and good wood bending properties. The real value of Cherry lies in its beautiful red color and excellent wood working properties. Cherry machines easily, nail and glues well and produces a truly outstanding finish when stained or polished. WHITE HARD MAPLE

Maple TreeHard Maple is one of the most recognizable North American Hardwoods. RAM Forest Products is located on the Pennsylvania/New York border, home to some of the whitest Hard Maple in the world. Our Hard Maple exhibits brilliant white colors and fine grain patterns. Hard Maple is, as its name suggests, a hard and heavy wood with great strength properties. It has high resistance to abrasion and wear, and has good steam bending properties. Hard Maple machines well, glues satisfactorily and can be stained and polished to a brilliant finish. Its common uses are flooring, furniture, paneling, kitchen cabinets, worktops, tabletops, stairs, handrails, mouldings, doors, sporting goods and basketball courts. RED (SOFT) MAPLE

Soft Maple TreeRed Leaf Soft Maple is, as its name suggests, softer than the Hard Maple grown in this region. However Soft Maple still demonstrates many of the White Maple qualities in workability with gorgeous white colors and consistent grain patterns. Red Oak TreeRed Oak from Northern Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier of New York State has a long and distinguished reputation throughout the industry for its consistent color, texture and lack of mineral.
